A Florida Beach Wedding
Mexico Beach is the ideal place to get married. Please note that beach weddings are not permitted specifically in the Sugar Sands community however they are allowed close by and you and your family can stay at our beach house during this memorable time!
To host your wedding on the beach in Mexico Beach or Public Facilities, you must obtain an event permit. You can obtain this from the Mexico Beach Building Department at 850-648-2033. This permit is FREE and notifies the City of Mexico Beach as well as the Police that an event will be going on at a certain time.
If you are getting married in Beacon Hill or Gulf County, no permit is required.
Places in Mexico Beach to get married:
On the Beach – they are public and a beautiful setting for a romantic wedding. On Dune Walkovers (smaller parties)
Sunset Park, City Pier or Canal Park – You need to talk with someone at the City Hall 850-648-5700
Driftwood Inn has a small chapel and catering. They handle numerous weddings and have a Notary Public (wedding officiate). Call Shawna Wood at 850-648-5126 or visit www.driftwoodinn.com

Wonderful Stay!
"Our family stayed at this beautifully decorated beach house the week of Fourth of July. The balconies were a front row seat to several amazing fireworks display. We could see the fireworks from Mexico Beach and the Cape. The house was a great set up for us. The grandparents stay on the main living floor for easy access to the kitchen. They loved the recliners in main living area with the wall of windows overlooking the water. We loved having a coffee bar right outside of one of the master bedrooms. It made it so easy to enjoy the mornings on the balcony drinking our coffee overlooking the beach. The kids loved having the hot tub , ping pong table, and foosball table and it entertained them for hours. We plan on returning on our next visit" - Anonymous

Fins with Benefits is perfect for multiple families to stay and enjoy the incredible firework display on the beach. "Scalloping with nearby Boat Slip We loved staying at Fins with Benefits during the scalloping season. We were able to store our boat 5 minutes away at the Mexico Beach canal slips for the week. The proximity made boating and scalloping super easy and convenient. We especially enjoyed the hot tub after returning from boating every day. The outdoor TV and grill was nice for evenings and we enjoyed playing cards at the high top table. The beds were plush and extremely comfortable and we loved having a TV in every room. The fourth floor master suite was the “show stopper “ with its panoramic water views and a soaking tub in the bedroom to enjoy the views. The beaches were beautiful and not crowded.
